Why Remedywear?

Remedywear was specifically designed to help soothe and protect sensitive skin including eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and so much more. All Remedywear garments are made with a blend of sustainably and responsibly made fibers (TENCEL) and embedded anti-inflammatory zinc.

In a clinical study [1], our ratio of TENCEL and Smartcel™ Sensitive was proven to reduce the severity of atopic dermatitis, reduce itchiness and improve quality of sleep when worn overnight for three consecutive nights.

Washing Instructions

Wash before your first use. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (<40 degrees C) using a mild plant or mineral-based detergent with no bleach or chemical whitening agents. Do not use fabric softeners or conditioners. Do not dry clean.

For best performance and to extend the life of the garments, lay flat to dry. You may also dry on a gentle cycle at a low temperature. Iron at a low-temperature setting (less than 110°C).

Be Sun Safe

All Remedywear garments offer 35-50+ UV protection! Check the chart below to verify the UV protection offered by the various colors when worn wet or dry.

Works great, but pricey!

I purchased these gloves with the manuka soothing cream for my son. He gets eczema on his hands and between the dry winter air in Colorado and increased hand washing and sanitizers, his poor hands just haven't been able to heal. Within just a short time wearing the cream under the gloves his hands drastically improved.

It's unfortunate the two products together are so pricey and with $10 shipping it will be hard to justify purchasing again. To avoid having to spend the money twice, You may want to size up if your kiddo is between sizes. I went with the smaller size for my son because I wanted to be sure the gloves fit snuggly at night. The measurements were accurate for his hand size, but he's 5 going on 6 and I'll likely need to get a larger pair if this is an ongoing issue.

The gloves are extremely soft, and you're clearly paying for the Tencel, Zinc and UV protection, as the pattern itself is simple and the amount of fabric minimal considering the size of a child's hands.

All this being said, if none of the more affordable options have been working for you and you can afford giving this a try, the benefit may outweigh the cost.
